Yet again my speeds are way down. Just tested & I'm getting 15/5 & the Btw tester is showing a fault. Could one of the excellent PN forum staff please have a look & try & sort out this intermittent fault?.
Many thanks,
Nick

Testing the line isn't showing any problems and the sync is within the estimates.
Are the slowdowns at specific times of the day and are you on a wireless or wired connection?

Thanks for your detailed response. The slowdown occurs spasmodically & it shows initially on my wireless laptop but is confirmed when I chabge to wired & is confirmed by the Btw tester.
Today I'm back to normal, showing 41/12 at my end so obviously all is OK for now. Intermittent faults are not unknown locally as the lines are overhead with some very dodgy connections.
I guess we can close this case for now 7 keep fingers crossed. Thanks again for the promptnresponse.
Nick
