Request for GEA

Hi

Just moved from Sky adsl2+ to Plusnet Unlimited Fibre.

I am requesting a GEA test as prior to joining Plusnet we had a REIN issue (now fixed) which affected a number of lines including mine, which cause a gradual drop from 17Mbs to 14Mbs, and wish to see if all is well with the line.

 

The hub is connected to the master socket with the supplied lead and filter.

The speed is a bit up/down at the moment but as we are in the 10 day period I am not surprised.

Everything looks a-ok considering you're in the stablisation period. I'd expect the speed to pick up over the next week or so.

Thanks for the GEA, its so refreshing to have Customer Service that works!!

Re the speed, yes it did a big drop, but I am sure it will come back up Smiley

One question @RandallFlagg, we are going to have an electrical power down to change a breaker on the main box, will this affect the 

stabilisation process?

If this happens within the period, the DLM may think it dropped and adjust accordingly.. but it wont restart the 10 days.
