I was having some problems with the WiFi on my unlimited fibre extra plan. When the laptop was plugged in I was getting speeds of roughly 70mb but the WiFi devices such as phones and laptop used to drop of regularly and had poor signal away from the router. I was advised on here to split channels which didn't really work.
On browsing this forum I saw that the BT business hub 6 was a good replacement so I bought one new and unused on eBay for £38 and it has been transformative. My WiFi speed on my phone has gone from roughly 26mb to 41mb and the devices are stable.
