Replacing Technicolor Router

Going to replace my fibre modem & Techniclor router, but don't know what to get. Wifi signal is very weak possibly due to the amount of devices connected these days.
Should I get this Hub One or is there a better alternative, ideally around the £100 mark.
Thanks in advance

Re: Replacing Technicolor Router

For that you have a reasonable choice
I suggest starting here http://forum.kitz.co.uk/index.php/topic,14436.0.html
I would suggest - as a minimum - dual band and at least two (preferably three) external aerials

Re: Replacing Technicolor Router

Did you ever get the firmware upgrade for the 582n  If it was a plusnet one with the dant-t board they were still pushing firmware for this. Long after you were told they couldnt.
One of the things it was meant to improve was the wifi.  .

Re: Replacing Technicolor Router

The router is stock, not done anything to it.
Will see if I can locate this firmware upgrade
