I look after my daughter's 40/2 fibre connection which previously suffered numerous disconnects when uploading.
@bobpullen applied a fix to my router and it is definitely more stable but suffered a disconnect a short while ago after 11 days - not bad but checking the log there are a number of entries similar to shown below showing 'Remote Admin'.
17:35:22, 02 Mar. IN: BLOCK Remote administration (TCP [188.8.131.52]:3963->[184.108.40.206]:22 on ppp3) 17:34:59, 02 Mar. IN: BLOCK Remote administration (TCP [220.127.116.11]:53150->[18.104.22.168]:22 on ppp3) 17:20:41, 02 Mar. IN: BLOCK Remote administration (UDP [22.214.171.124]:37494->[126.96.36.199]:161 on ppp3)
I am the only one who accesses the router and I didn't at the times shown.
What might these refer to?
Re: Remote Administration
Block meaning Blocked!
Yep, apologies, just realised it is the firewall blocking.
I've had so many problems of late (maybe resolved) with uploads that I mistakenly thought it had something to do with a disconnect at the same period.
