Regular packet loss spikes on TBB Quality Monitor

Just wondering what might be causing the regular red spikes at the top of my monitor graph (the one at around 2:15 this morning was a resync, the others have no apparent cause).
I'm not aware of any particular issues on my connection (the kids haven't complained so I assume it's working OK).
Before about 30 Dec 2014 these spikes do not appear to have been there e.g. 29 Dec:
but they have been present pretty much ever since e.g. mid Jan:
