Hi Guys
i was wondering if any body could help me before i get on the phone and start complaining.
my speed has dropped to around 25Mb avarage instaead of the 37Mb i used to be getting
i have also been getting frequent drop outs where i can load a webpage or the tv program im streaming
suddenly starts buffering and stops, and even to the stage now that i cant watch amazon prime,
my lads Nintendo Switch wont work online either.
then a second or 2 later it starts working again.
i have gone though speed tests using the following providors
Ookla 22.32 down and 9.21 up
which 25.9 down and 8.9 up
broadband.co.uk 36.92 down and 8.8 up
BT Wholesale 35.84 down and 16.38 down
so a couple of questions why are all 4 speed test providers so diffrent ?
why are BT saying 16.38Mb upload when the other three are below 10 which is what my line is set up for.
and why when i restart my router do they all they start reading about the same 37.2Mb down and 9.4 up (give or take a point or two)
this is about the 5th time i have had to restsrt my router to get the speed back up so i can stream tv or surf the web without interuptions.
i havent even atempted to play any online PC games because i know i will either not be able to connect to the server or i will get Kicked soon there after.
add to that my son is going nuts when its drops out and he gets kicked of the fortnite server.
please help if you can
