Hi,
For the first time in a long, long while I had a dropped connection last night and once again tonight. On both occasions it required a modem reboot (as well as the router) to bring the connection back up. Happened about 9pm on both occasions but tonight it repeated about 10 minutes later. Is there any maintenance in my area (Heaton Moor exchange, Manchester) that I need be aware of? Anyone at plusnet able to check my line to make sure all is well?

Thankfully it appears to have been a very brief issue and no further disconnections have been recorded since:

One or two within a 24 hour period can be quite normal so don't worry.
Do let us know if you have any other queries or concerns re this though.
