Anoush, I don't want to belabour this point.  All I know is that my speeds have dropped from 67.5 mbps two years ago, to 58.34 mbps now.

No problem Bert, the speed drop is due to the physical link between your router and the cabinet which can be due to a variety of reasons. Openreach won’t investigate because you’re within their expected speed range for your line but try the test socket as that may help.
