Re: New Upgrade - profile not updated

Just been upgraded from PN ADSL to FTTC
Before upgrade:  down 3.7mbs. up 1.1mbs.
After upgrade:  down 3.7mBs up 6.99 mbs Ping 22
Estimated 26Mbs
I'm told that  I have to wait 10 days or so  to see the expected increased speed, is this correct?
To see no actual increase of speed when switching to fibre, is this normal?

Sounds like they need to update their speed profile but you'd be best off starting your own thread rather than piggy backing off this one Smiley

@kremmen
Thanks for that.
@borisd0
No, that's not correct. Give me 5 minutes, then log in to your router and press disconnect and then connect. Try a speedtest after that.

Re: New Upgrade - profile not updated

No it isn't and I just wish they would train the call handlers better
The problem is updating the Plusnet profile and that is what they should have done manually instead of spouting the up to 10 days guff which does not apply to fibre

I have split it off

Re: New Upgrade - profile not updated

Thanks Oldjim,
I've sorted the profile out and sent feedback on as this is an annoyance of mine.
