Re: Another seriously hacked off fibre user

Why is the download speed so slow?

I'm supposed to have superfast fibre, my xbox is wired to the router but downloading a game takes hours because

it is only downloading at 5 to 10 mps. Where is the so call 80mps download speed?

I'm also a seriously hacked off fibre user!!!

Are you sure you are not getting bits & bytes mixed up?

Downloads are normally measured in MegaBytes per second whereas connection speeds are normally measured in Megabits per second.

10MBps = 80Mbps

Re: One seriously hacked off fibre user

Try the BTW Speedtest here and then do the further diagnostics test reporting the results back here

Unfortunately you don't appear to have contacted us via your account to advise of any problems for us to investigate.

If you continue to experience slow speeds after this, I'd recommend raising a fault so we can investigate further.
