Quite slow tonight

Speeds are slowing right down tonight, half the normal. Yes, it is a wireless connection as no LAN cable available, but all the ones shown for comparison are wireless too:

Hi Markfish.
Diagnostics aren't showing me any connection problems at all.
I'd see if you can get your hands on an ethernet cable as the next step so we can differentiate whether this is a wireless or a connection problem.

Slow again tonight, half speed again. Still no long enough LAN cable, but InSSIDer says I am on channel 6 and other neighbours are on 11 & 1.
I know wireless isn't a good way to do speed tests, but as said before, all the speed tests logged beforehand were wireless too.

I do however have my SamKnows graph though, my upstream speed is badly suffering as well and that was one of the main reasons I came to PN, for the higher upload speed.

It's difficult to diagnose speeds over wireless, as even though neighbours may be on another channel, it's possible that the problem could be a multitude of other things.

I appreciate that Tony, bur the Samknows box is wired to the router and is also logging the speed drops. Just as good as a speed test I would suggest.

Not much better tonight really, even on a wired connection, the upload is pitiful, a full 10MB down on my original connection.

My BQM graph from yesterday is also showing a vast increase in what appears to be congestion and the red packet loss too  . Had fibre for over 2 years now and these are the first slow speed issues. I hope they are soon resolved.
