Quick Question - Connected today

Quick questionplease. Connected today and had a call from BT. As I was at work and no one to reset the router they could not test the connection so the job may remain open. I said i would contact Plusnet.

I have reset the router (Archer VR2600) and have connected to the VDSL2 AnnexB.

Data shows:

Max upload speed 20,075

Max Download speed 82,444

SNR 6.2 up and 6.8 down

Line Att 0 up and 18 down

Erros 0 up and 2 down

Speed test shows Download 15.2Mbps and Up 17.8Mbps

As the download shows the same as ADSL2 previously 15.0Mbps does this mean the line profile is set for previous ADSL2 service? If not will the speed increase by itself or will it need Plusnet to change something.

Many thanks

Andy

Re: Quick Question - Connected today

Welcome to the community forums Andy.

It looks like your speeds might be restricted to ADSL by the profiling on our side.

I've just made an adjustment now. If you can reboot your router, you should see an increase.

Hope this helps.

Re: Quick Question - Connected today

Great, speed is now 74.1 download and 17.8 upload.

So all is looking good.

Thank you Plusnet.
