Question - Will be out of house for 4 months. Any affect on my Fibre connection?

Thanks to some flooding damage. we will be out of house for approx 4 months while the downstairs is ripped out and rebuilt. During this time, there will be no router hooked up to the BT socket. Will this extended downtime have any affect on my Fibre connection?

There shouldn't be any problems with this at all. Sorry to hear of the flooding and I hope it gets sorted soon for you.

No need. Scottish Water are paying the bills while we were out since it was their water main that burst!   I appreciate the thought though.
I just wanted to keep the bills in place so we didn't lose our spot in the fibre cabinet.
