I appreciate the difficult times at present. I raised the above some time ago and PN have been good at getting engineers to get it sorted, includung on last Thursday. An underground fault was discovered and an Openreach engineer had a go at fixing it but my speeds and attenuation are now a lot worse!
I have posted this info on my ticket/question on the PN site but thought posting here as well might get a PN person to check it out and get it fixed for good!
Hope this is OK and wait to see what transpires.
