can i have a explanation ? after weekend of 16 - 17 09/17 when there was a odd slowdown for a lot of customers my 80/20
dropped to 8/12 ? on the monday 18th it sort of came back to 50/12 .
so i went through the troubleshooter and got this "Our tests have found a fault with your broadband service."
after a few days of bad internet speeds , " The next action on your Contact Us Ticket is due on Saturday 23rd September at 6:00am"
anyhow speeds are up and down from 50/12 to 20/8 and varying
today i checked my ticket and got a test result no fault found ?

The engineer that came out to me today was an absolute plonk! I don't usually get annoyed with people easily but this guy was bang out of order.
He tested my line and told me I am sync'ing at 74Mbs. I told him if I disconnect my modem and reconnect, I could achieve the same thing. And so did his colleague before him. The issue is that the speed gradually goes down to 2Mb over the course of a day.
He then went almost apocalyptic when I tried to run a second speed test while he was here. I suggested that a speed test is merely a file download, similar to what I would do on any web page, but apparently he has been on broadband courses so he knows better. After that, it got very awkward to even speak to him.
I'll monitor my speed over the course of the day and see what happens.
