Oh wait...a case of overactive web page caching perhaps...I browsed around a bit more then was prompted to login. On going back I no longer see the contract period.

How long should I expect the upgrade to take effect, as I still seem to be on the 40/2 profile...? I got the email from Plusnet saying the product change had completed on August 31st.
Does the router need a reboot?

Well, the upgrade is not going so well, 20 days from the upgrade and still on the old profile. Furthermore, I've been without Internet since Monday night when a brief powercut caused the router to reset, at which point the router failed to connect.
DSL synced, but apparently an authentication/login issue.

It looks like the upgrade order is stuck which is possibly causing the authentication problem. I can see this is being dealt with by my colleagues of our complaints team. They'll get back to you as soon as we receive more info.
