QoS

Since i play online games, meanwhile there are other people in my house using the internet i am getting ping spikes, i heard online that enabling QoS helps if there are other people using your bandwidth however there is no option in the router page. If i call plusnet will they be able to enable it?

Re: QoS

Hi there,

We do already employ QOS as in traffic management on our network.

If however if you're wanting to set this up on your local network it depends on the hardware you're using. Options such as port forwarding are handled automatically by UPnP on the Hub One router where as you may find a few more options if you're using the Technicolor router we originally provided you. The Technicolor website would be the best place to find that information.

Re: QoS

There is a world of difference between the Hub-One supplied and a decent router QOS wise!

Maybe someone from the Hub-One hacked club could respond with another view of QOS on the Hub-One just to humour me!
