Profile options

What options do Plusnet get (if any) to influence the DLM.
I was syncing at 78M when the FTTC first got put in a week or so ago (Recently moved) but for some reason DLM seems to have fiddled with it and it's now 71Mbit/s and extra latency.
The firmware I have on my unlocked HG612 is the version that supports G.INP.
Strange as last time I looked the error rates were nice and low and I hadn't noticed any drops outs  Undecided
My Latency isn't bad by any stretch of the imagination at 18ms, but before DLM stuck it's nose in I was averaging about 12ms and had 6Mbit/s more speed.
What I do find amusing is my backup ADSL2+ line (TT reseller) actually has lower latency than my FTTC at 8ms.

Re: Profile options

It maybe that you have a bit of increased cross-talk from other lines on FTTC to your DP.
Is G.INP active on your line?
I'd just keep an eye on your errors for now and see how it goes.

Re: Profile options

We can't influence DLM in any way I'm afraid.
There are different options for stability we can choose however these make the line more sensitive to DLM.
