Re: Profile and GEA test?

That would be the proverbial length of string, as long as it reaches both ends.

But why is it not synched like on his tester what's causing the loss. I have the standard set up.

Probably because the tester has a Broadcom modem chip, or performs better as a modem for some other reason besides containing different chips.

Re: Profile and GEA test?

Sorry to hear the engineer still couldn't find a fault @Manny7860

But I'm glad that switching to a different router has resolved things for you.

Please let us know if you have any further issues.

Re: Profile and GEA test?

@Gandalf Checked on bt adsl checker noticed my download upload max speed has increased. Upload now showing 12.5 was 8.2 haven't seen any difference in speed was wondering would it need a profile refresh for it to register new speeds.
Pics enclosed.

Re: Profile and GEA test?

You are looking at speed estimates on the checker, they can vary from time to time but don't mean your speeds are going to change. If you could show your full modem/router stats that would help. Not sure what the HH6 can display, I've never used one. You could try a single resync but don't expect your speeds to increase to the estimated values, it probably won't happen.Smiley

Re: Profile and GEA test?

I am afraid you believe wrong, I have never used any ISP supplied router, I need a bit more in the way of facilities and configuration options.

However I think you may be able get stats from the BT hub 6 using the following command ......

Advanced settings > enter password > Technical log

Hope this helps.

Re: Profile and GEA test?

Unfortunately as your sync speeds are within expectations there isn't anything we can do to improve them.

Downstream Speed 40.0 Mbps
Upstream Speed 6.7 Mbps

In addition your line is not banded.

Profile Name 0.128M-40M Downstream, Error Protection Off - 0.128M-10M Upstream, Error Protection Off

Re: Profile and GEA test?

Right I see. No problem. Just thought I'd see an little increase due to the increase on the checker.
