 Hello,

   Thank you all for your help. Gandalf contacted me again and has informed me I will now be connected on the 23rd Sept. I have also checked on the BT DSL Checker and get the message below, so I am hoping everything is in place.

 

'There is an open order on your line which is due to complete by 23-Sep-2017.'

 

Not perfect having to wait another week, but at least it looks like my fibre broadband should be working by next weekend, fingers crossed. I also hope I don't get charged until my service actually starts,

I'll see if I can get the order expedited based on the previous failed orders.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Good news, your order has been expedited.

The bad news is that it's only brought it forward by 24 hours to the 22nd. Sad
