Procedure for return to ADSL

Please could someone advise re the procedure for returning to ADSL from Fibre? I have spoken to CS and led to believe that this is not possible.

A regrade to ADSL is definitely possible, you would need to speak to our options team on 0800 013 2632, agree an ADSL deal then we can get the line regraded back for you

I would not recommend this.
A family member was on PlusNet ADSL service and it was dreadfully slow so I moved them to a different provider while we waited for Fibre to become available in that area.
I have been on PlusNet Fibre for around four years and it is excellent and very cheap.
On PlusNet ADSL they were only getting 1 or 2MB max. The service appeared to be throttled.
They were with Eclipse ADSL before that and were getting 4 to 5.5MB download speeds. Now they are with Zen ADSL and getting similar again.
I would highly recommend staying with PlusNet Fibre.
