I was looking at moving over to your broadband service but your  post code checker just keeps given me this error.

Unfortunately, it looks like broadband hasn't reached your area yet.

Thanks for getting in touch, I appreciate your query.

I'm sorry we can't service your property at present. From the information in the image, it appears that your property is actually capable of getting Fibre to the Property (FTTP), this would follow if it is a new build and in an area that BT have designated for FTTP only.

FTTP offers a superfast broadband speed and is a superior technology to FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet), which is what Plusnet offers. The message is advising you that the service commonly referred to as Unlimited Fibre is not available in your area, as this is an FTTC product.

As you are with Virgin Media I'm assuming you can already get reasonably high speeds, It's worthwhile speaking to BT to compare the costs and speeds they can offer, to find out whether you are better off considering FTTP.
