Re: Price increase leaving question

Welcome to our community forums @rekutt

I'm sorry to hear you're looking to leave us.

If you contact our Customer Options Team on 0800 013 2632 within 30 days of receiving that price refresh e-mail, we'll make sure no early termination charges are applied when your service leaves us.

However, as cease fee of £30 would still be applicable in certain situations, moving to Virgin Media being one of those situations as they don't use the BT network so your broadband service would need to be ceased manually.

More info on this can be found over here.

With that said, is there anything we could do to keep you as a customer?

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Re: Price increase leaving question

Thanks for the information.

At what point would I have to pay the £30?

Straight away or when I get my final bill.

Thanks again for the help.

Re: Price increase leaving question

Fix

No problems at all.

It'll normally need to be paid at the time we schedule your account for closure.

However it should be OK to pay it at a later agreed date.
