Hi there,
I have ran some checks on your line today. Looking at the GEA, the speed is looking fine but it is showing an error on the line. Please can you try connecting to the test socket for me to rule out any internal issues. If you are connected to the test socket please let me know.

Hi @goldenfibre
There is an error showing in the GEA above " Impairment in copper joint detected most likely in local network. Please continue to submit a trouble report ". This is most likely an external issue, however, we recommend getting it in the test socket just to rule out any internal issues.
You can find more information on how to do this here.

@deank nothing to do with my master socket. As it never been changed since. Must be exchange or cabinet faulty.

@deank will plug into test socket in about few minutes later. Can you please run another GEA Test in half an hour.
Updated: plugged into test socket as DSL failure to getting connecting from cabinet. DSL flashing continue.
It's a fault in the test socket now.

Hi @goldenfibre
Which kind of cable are you using there? You will need to attach an ADSL filter to the socket, and plug the DSL cable into the filter. If that is a third party DSL cable you have attached to the socket, do you have an alternate one that you could try just to rule that out?

@deank I have been to the loft try to find filter to plug into test socket, found it and it now plugged into test socket and dsl light now steady solid on. You can now run another GEA Test. This is the same cable I am using from this link: https://www.tandyonline.com/electronics/telecoms-dsl/high-speed-rj11-dsl-cable-2m.html See photo enclosed below

Hi @goldenfibre,
I wouldn't worry to much about that as it shouldn't restrict your performance. I've ran a further test on your line and the fibre banding is currently at 80Mb as expected.
However, the Impairment in copper joint is still showing, so I have raised this to BT Wholesale for you. We expect a response from them within the next 48 hours. Please let us know if you haven't heard anything by Thursday.
