Poor speeds on fibre

Hi there, been a plusnet customer for a month, download speeds are poor a ps4 download is around 23mbps that's poor, previously with BT had no issues was around 43mbps so what is the issue, also smart tv,s logout and buffer so what is the issue.

Together with our network partners at Openreach we are prioritising customers who don’t have a phone line or broadband connection, meaning there might be a delay in Speed Faults being fixed. In the meantime, please raise your speed fault online at faults.plus.net.

I have been trying for ages to login to faults.plus.net but it states username or password invalid yet I can login on here, just been with plusnet over a month and its just been agro can you advise, cookies are allowed deleted cookies but still cant login

To login to faults.plus.net you should use the credentials used to login to the member centre, the forum login is not related to the member centre login and can be different.

The password for the plusnet billing/fault/account system should not be the same as this community website.

The password issued when you signed up with plusnet is the one to use.

That said you will need to follow the instructions here

https://www.plus.net/help/broadband/connection-troubleshooting

then do a test including the advanced portion

bt speed trester

and then 

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL

will tell you the expected speed you should get.

Note that the community member's in the main do not work for Plusnet, but do have a wide range of experience in telecommunications and are more than happy to assist (apart from trolls!!)
