Poor Fibre Speeds, not happy :(

Ok, so I have a problem with my fibre connection. That problem being that it is far too slow and under the CONTRACTED speeds.
I have run the BTw performance test as well as an Ookla and TBB speedtest.
Starting with the BTw performance check, the results are as follows:

BT Wholesale Broadband Performance Test
Broadband Speed Test Results
Download Speed (Mbps): 9.11
Upload Speed (Mbps): 9.25
Ping Latency (ms): 51.88

The "Further Diagnostic" test results (as copied and pasted fdirectly from results page) are;

1. Best Effort Test: -provides background information.
Download Speed
10.89 Mbps

0 Mbps 51.82 Mbps
Max Achievable Speed
Download speedachieved during the test was - 10.89 Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 41.45 Mbps-51.82 Mbps .
Additional Information:
IP Profile for your line is - 51.82 Mbps
2. Upstream Test: -provides background information.
Upload Speed
4.96 Mbps

0 Mbps 20 Mbps

This test was not conclusive and further testing is required. This might be useful for your Broadband Service Provider to investigate the fault.
If you wish to carry out further tests, please click on 'Continue' button. If not, please close the window using 'Exit' button and contact your ISP for further assistance with these results.

Re: Poor Fibre Speeds, LESS than contracted!

Telephone number:
Phone exchange:
   EDMONTON
Estimated line speed:
35Mb (Download speed could vary depending on line conditions. Estimates are the maximum speeds that your phone line can support. These speeds are dependent on the package you choose.) - Checked on 2015-08-06 10:16:43
Current line speed:
   40 Mb

Still not getting corerect speed. Tested it by connecting direct to router/modem, wireless off, no other connections.
****EDIT****
Just as an aside, the router/modem is connected directly to the master, thence to a cat6 line to a computer and 8 port switch in another room under "Normal" circumstances".

The above results were collected using my laptop connected by Cat6 patch lead direct to the router/modem itself.
Results using the Cat6 line to the other room fall within a  +/- 3mb differential, which I find as acceptible, even though to many it might not be.

Re: Poor Fibre Speeds, LESS than contracted!

As a point of interest, I see that the line speed was checked on 6/8/2015...
Is there a possibility this can be rechecked and the data updated as it is over 7 weeks since last check?
Also, can a member of PN staff look into these issues please?

Re: Poor Fibre Speeds, not happy :(

I had a similar problem back in May. It was solved by PN changing the profile then restoring it to the correct setting. I don't know how to link to another thread but if you go to page 34 in Fibre it is the second one down titled 'Fibre installed today - slow connection'.

You will need to raise a fault https://faults.plus.net/ if you have not already done so.
