Re: Plusnet Product on Fibre (The cheaper product)

OR only offer 80/20, 40/10 & 40/2, Plusnet's 'old' product (40/20) is 80/20 with download limited at PlusNet network.
Apart from 40/20, 40/10 & 40/2 no other options have any validity, since 40/20 is no longer being offered this is a straight choice between 40/10 and 40/2 - obviously the majority would prefer 40/10 (until you put a price against each option at least).

If you're going to include options such as 20/10 and 20/5 then I vote for 65/25 since that would pretty much make the best of my line  Cheesy

Re: Plusnet Product on Fibre (The cheaper product)

A better question would have been "If Plusnet's base product is 40/2, would you be prepared to pay a bit more for 40/10?".
If it were priced between 40/2 and 80/20, yes, I'd pay a bit more.

Re: Plusnet Product on Fibre (The cheaper product)

Good info Strat. I hope this doesn't become a trend for ISP's. As our reliance on cloud based services increases, more and more people will demand faster upload speeds. It just seems a backward step to be limiting upload speed to a tenth of what it was on the given plan.
2Mbps versus 10Mbps is a significant enough difference for me that it would certainly make me change providers.

Re: Plusnet Product on Fibre (The cheaper product)

I would have liked the 40/10 option but given that I am in a contract at present I am stuck with Plusnet
However compared to BT I have 80/20 cheaper than 40/10
