Hi
I've handed my MAC key to Plusnet.
Can anyone shed some light about their experiences of switching from an FTTC provider to Plusnet?
My switch date is - Thursday 13th November - Is there not an earlier date since I already have an FTTC service?
Thanks

Hi,
Just for the bit that I can answer:
This is the earliest date I'm afraid. Unfortunately we are still subject to our supplier's lead times, although an internal appointment is not required.

Why have I received the following
Your router is in the post, it'll arrive in a few days. We'll text you again when your broadband is ready, please don't set up your router until then.
If it's in 3 to 4 weeks time - why am I getting the new hub now?

It looks like automation has dispatched it early.
Let me know if it hasn't arrived by Monday.

I received another text this morning about 5 mins ago.
Your broadband service is due to become active by midnight on 06/11/2014. Please don't set up your router until we confirm your service is active.
Have you managed to bring the activation date forward?
