Re: Plusnet Fiber Drop 38Mbps to 12mbps

Well well, what a 'surprise'. Disingenuous, incompetent charlatans from openreach failed to attend for the second time in a week. No excuse, no advise, not the slightest effort made to contact me or provide any information. Clearly a 'plus' net level of 'service' all round. What a ******* joke.

Re: Plusnet Fiber Drop 38Mbps to 12mbps

it actually gets worse. Just had a completely meaningless 'update' from 'plus' net with irrelevant information about a problem that I don't have. Still no explanation for the two failed visits within one week. The only positive thing is the clear evidence that 'plus' net and their associates are consistently abominable.

Re: Plusnet Fiber Drop 38Mbps to 12mbps

Hi @Bluejay5 I have updated Ticket:161943017 with the info.

@jamessc It looks like another engineer appointment may be required. If you could reply with availability and I will look into the previously missed visits.

Re: Plusnet Fiber Drop 38Mbps to 12mbps

Thanks Lauren B, but I've already spoken to someone and rearranged the appointment, and received a clear admission that the first appointment was missed because open reach didn't send anyone, and the second appointment was missed because 'plus' net didn't make the appointment correctly.

@jamessc

You obviously haven't taken my comments on board - otherwise you would have modified your signature to remove the blatant insult you've directed at the moderators:

due to the absurd, desperate, cowardly, scrambling censorship constantly performed by the 'independent' moderators who continually seek to protect 'plus' net from accurate and entirely justified criticism

The only reason action has been taken on your posts is because you broke forum rules - not because of any criticism you've made of Plusnet. Do you honestly think that if these forums were being censored to remove criticism of Plusnet posts like https://community.plus.net/t5/Plusnet-Feedback/Why-I-have-left-Plusnet/m-p/1389353 would have been allowed to remain?

Re: Plusnet Fiber Drop 38Mbps to 12mbps

Good news the modem has stayed on with the speeds of 32mbps only once it was lower 11mbps I will take that with a temporary drop but as I said it came back up.

I will not report now unless the speeds drop and will reply on Tuesday 2nd Jan 2018

Re: Plusnet Fiber Drop 38Mbps to 12mbps

@Bluejay5 As a moderator the help I can offer is limited as I don't have access to Plusnet systems or your account. Hopefully a member of staff will reply soon.
