Please Help! Slow Broadband in the evenings for a month now.

Dear Admin's,
I have for the last month or so had my fibre speed dramatically decreased to 3 to 4mb from 43mb.
This only happens at 5pm till 11pm, before these times i get solid 43mb wired/wireless.
I have just come off chat support and was told no fault found again. This is definitely a HOT svlan issue that cannot be detected by chat support. i think the admin need to pick this fault up at QA and get BT to resolve it.
I advised chat support that there is no use of a engineer visit due to fault happening after their work hours.
Please can someone pick this fault up and resolve it.
It's been unbearable to use during evenings.

It sure looks like a hot svlan, there have been a fair few cases on the forums lately of this issue, @Gandalf has been dealing with a few of them I believe he's back at work tomorrow so hopefully he will see this and get something done for you.

This is a current 'Hot potato' item on the SU / PN agenda. The holiday period hasn't helped in getting a focus on how best to speedily differentiate these potential HOT SVLAN fault reports from more usual line problems and then getting BT QA to do the neccessary.
Definitely making progress to bring about a resolution.
Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

I saw a fix by @Gandalf on another users thread, Using ' Iift n shift'.
Hopefully, someone will pick this up.

It's not quite a 'lift 'n' shift, but something similar further up the network chain. Hopefully @Gandalf will be along to cast his eye over this problem.

8 weeks.... Damn, you sure are a PN stockholder to stay faithful.
Thank god its past 11pm, I can get full speeds again.
I hope this won't turn into the 'Apple we are slowing your service to help you scenarios'.

Yep, around 8 weeks for me too. Really bad between 7-11 here.

Have a look at my speed tests above, its like magic back to normal at 11pm.
BT and PN fully aware of this. tech support useless on chat/phone.
