Phone line issue - phone and broadband down

Hi all,

 

I believe I have a phone line issue.

Despite plugging my Hub into the test socket (without the cover on the master socket), my phone line is silent or crackly and the Hub lights are orange. Internet connection is intermittent.

I've asked relatives to ring Plusnet (as have no mobile signal where I live) but they're not taking calls right now and the live chat is disabled!! Desperate to get this fixed as it's my only link to the outside world at this point but how? Please help!

I'm very sorry for the inconvenience that this fault is causing you and for the trouble that you have had getting in touch with an advisor. Having checked your account, I can see that this has now been raised to our suppliers and an engineer has been booked to investigate this fault between 8am and 1pm tomorrow.

Yes I managed to get through to someone in the end and am happy that they are able to come so quickly.
