Patchy connection in CT1

Hi all...relatively new to plusnet. Having had 4 months of good service the fibre broadband in my flat has been terrible since Wednesday. So far no answers from plusnet but I wonder if it's related to some gas works that are going on nearby (accidental rupture of a gas main by a nearby building site)...

Connection (and gas works) much better....who knew broadband was gas powered
