Past VPN use causing problems

Hello everyone,
A few weeks ago I used a VPN service to stream a film festival overseas. I used it for 7 days or so. Since then, I've had constant problems with website not trusting my IP, and giving me Google Captcha verifications to pass every time I visit Google, Royal Mail tracking, ASOS, or any other webpage really. It is really frustrating, as the Captchas always take a few minutes to solve, and it doesn't stop happening. Also some sites are saying "my network is detected as one with non-human activity". This is ridiculous, why is that, and how do I make it stop so that my usage can go back to normal?
Will changing IP address help? Does this always happen when using a VPN?
Thank you

Sounds like a software issue?
Which VPN service?
Was the VPN service installed as an app on your smart phone or laptop?
If yes, does the issue affect a device where you never installed the VPN app to it?
You can use myip.com to find out your current Plusnet IP address. Then perhaps turn off the hub for 5+ minutes. It should pick up a new IP address if you don't have a static IP address. I doubt it will fix the problem.

No, it's not a software issue. I used two different VPN services, both had their standalone apps for MacBook and iPhone, it was one of the Nord VPN ones or something. However, I also have this issue on any device connected to my IP network, even my work laptop... I never installed a VPN on it.
I'm not sure what to do! The issue is getting really frustrating.
