Parts of internet down?

Today I can get some internet sites but not others is it me or general?
Can get Facebook but not Twitter
Can get Yahoo but not Google
Can't get BBCNews but can get Sky News

There seems to be a DNS issue around i guess PN will pick this up soon.

Same here... seems DNSy. VPN to office on iPad - and all is good.

I've got same issue. I'm down in Watford area. So annoying. Can't use Amazon or Xbox live. Hope this will be resolved soon

I think plusnet have picked that is why there are not taking support calls

I am having the same problem on the Isle of Wight.  Can get Facebook and PlusNet but cannot get BBC or several others.

same dns problem here in Durham. read on another forum some are using google dns servers without any problems. 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4

Same in Northern Ireland, I can get to some sites, but not others, so deffo a DNS issue.

Got the same problem in Surrey, can't access certain sites on my phone yet my laptop seems fine. Hopefully it will get resolved soon.

Same here, some sites working some not, Xbox Live isn't working

Glad it's not just me.. :(. thought I'd messed up my DNS settings.

It is not you .. Cannot get Google..BBC..and other sites but I can get here and a few other places. Phoning doesn't even give a message. It's a major fault somewhere.

Same problem here in the Reading area. Luckily the Google DNS servers appear to be working OK. Thanks!

How to fix the problem 
Get someone else to fix it and then go back to bed until its fixed
