Last December, I started seeing packet loss, but it was only visible using Thinkbroadband's BQM, which turned out to be a problem with some links at a data centre according to @bobpullen at the time.
Before 5am this morning, I could be wrong, but I did witness some strange 'lower than expected' speedtest test results before 5am. Turning off the router for a few minutes to force a change of IP and gateway which seemed to resolve the speedtest issue.
In any case, the BQM issue seems like it has perhaps returned, but alleged packet loss looks more severe than what I witnessed in December.

I'm not witnessing any issues with my connection after doing all the usual simple ping tests to and from remote hosts.
Is anyone else noticing anything strange with BQM ?

There's a selection of BQM graphs here and none of them match yours.
That's obviously not proof of anything but does suggest it's not a widespread issue.
When I hammer my line I see similar to the extended blue & yellow spikes in the graph above, do you know what was active on your line at the time?

fwiw, my broadband wasn't in use at all between 5pm and 6pm.
Looks like dropped packets somewhere between the BQM pingbox along a specific route to my connection like last time.
