Packet Loss issues back again?

Getting constant ping drops here and there throughout the day and right now up to 60% packet loss out.

Re: Packet Loss issues back again?

Hi there,

No, we're not aware of any service-wide problems.

Are speeds also affected and is this happening at any particular time of day?

Re: Packet Loss issues back again?

It's not regular, currently seeing (averaging 0.6% packet loss up and down on the same teamspeak server whilst other users have none) small amounts of packetloss here and there.

At 23:21, just had a loss of routing (nothing resolves/pings). No drop in my connection, I just wait 2 minutes and suddenly I can ping/resolve. I'll take note of when it happens as usually it's late night when I should be asleep, but it's happened a few times I am told.

Re: Packet Loss issues back again?

Ugh, went down again at 00:08, went and restarted my router, couldn't connect back up:

Aug 1 01:03:21 pppd[479]: No response to 10 echo-requests
Aug 1 01:03:21 pppd[479]: Serial link appears to be disconnected.
Aug 1 01:03:27 pppd[479]: Connection terminated.

Restarted my OR modem and it Chapped but then:

Aug 1 01:09:44 pppd[761]: IPCP: timeout sending Config-Requests
Aug 1 01:09:50 pppd[761]: Connection terminated.

Then 10 seconds later it tried again and everything came through, on a different gateway now:

Re: Packet Loss issues back again?

I am getting another problem router coming up with "The Internet service provider is not responding to PPPoE packets"

This is in Warrington.

Re: Packet Loss issues back again?

Well since getting off that gateway and on to psb-bng01, I've had little to no packetloss and the interruptions have completely gone.
