Re: Packet Loss / Drop Outs

Hi @Kelly

Internet just dropped out for a good few minutes there whilst playing, didn't have any packet loss in the small amount of time I was playing though, thought I'd let you know.

Thanks.

Re: Packet Loss / Drop Outs

Looking at your line data, you still have some errors and interleaving on it to correct then.  The DLM is working out the best settings for your stability.

Ordinarily I'd point at this as the cause of your CS problems, but the fact that everything is peachykeen when on the static IP suggests otherwise!

Re: Packet Loss / Drop Outs

Could this at all be down to the router I am using / the configuration? We are yet to test the original routing solution / non static IP on the original router, we can do this if you'd like.

Thanks.

Re: Packet Loss / Drop Outs

Cool, I'll await further instruction.

Edit: @Kelly I can force packet loss on WinMTR, Take a look at this.

This occured as soon as I started pinging another address with the same program (two different addresses at once), don't know if this is of any use to you.

Thanks.

Re: Packet Loss / Drop Outs

Probably nothing to worry about.  It's your router that isn't reply to the pings, but everything upstream of it is responding fine.

Okay that's good to hear, let me know if you guys can come up with any solution!

Thanks again.

Edit: Created a new TBB graph as the previous one is on a different IP.

Re: Packet Loss / Drop Outs

Just catching up on this thread, a lot has gone on since my last post!

We'll let you know when we come up with a solution as ideally adding a static IP is a temporary measure.

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.

Re: Packet Loss / Drop Outs

Hey@MikeJ123 and @Gandalf

We'd like to test to see if this is working again with and without the static IP we applied to your account.  We've fixed a couple of things which might have been causing it since then

Re: Packet Loss / Drop Outs

Cheers, *deep breath* I've done that for you now.

Your connection will drop in a moment but when it reconnects you'll be on a dynamic IP. Let us know how this goes.
