Glad to hear all is well.

 

If a router is plugged into another line it will connect up using the auto setup feature and drag down the details from the account that has the same reference number against it. If there's no account with a reference number, or it can't do it (for example plugged into a fibre line and trying to connect to an ADSL account) then it will get stuck with the auto config details in it (setup@ or TR069@).

 

In your case it was for testing purposes and an oversight, but if anyone was thinking of giving or selling their spare router to someone else then they should always let us know so we can strip the auto config credentials from their account to prevent any issues. If that makes sense.
