is there a mass outage on plusnet today, or is this local to me?
modem is still synced with a healthy margin and normal error count.

Re: PPP down since approx 2pm

No mass outage. Can you try on your normal username and see if that connects?
There's no obvious issue on the line that I can see, I've run through a test and can see that you're in sync but the PPP just isn't connected.

Already tried Chris, still same.
This is what the router is spitting out.

I will try the normal account again tho, just to be sure.

ok is configured to use my normal account now and I have left it like that so there is no confusion on the fault.

Re: PPP down since approx 2pm

We're not actually seeing the connection attempts, even when I test via BT Wholesale. Do you still have the Openreach modem and a router to use with it (just to rule out this being the cause). From what I've seen if this doesn't work you're probably going to need to open a fault ticket.

Re: PPP down since approx 2pm

I am not keen on dropping my sync, but if you say I need to do this before you open the fault I guess I will do it.

Re: PPP down since approx 2pm

Looks like the modem was the issue, it must have partially locked up stopping accepting traffic from the LAN.
Is working again now, thanks.
