Outage period with fibre transfer from BT

I've just joined Plusnet, transferring in an existing Broadband fibre service from BT.
I'm due to be live with Plusnet tomorrow, but BT have already stopped the broadband service this morning.
Is this normal?
Plusnet had the MAC code, as assumed there would be a minimal outage as it didn't need an Openreach visit as the modem was already in place.

When I migrated from BT to Plusnet at the end of December, the change happened a day early around 2am from memory.  Didn't have a connection in the morning, suspected it may have been the migration so changed the username and password on the router to the Plusnet ones and reconnected immediately.
If you've got a new router from Plusnet, worth connecting that up or if you're using your own change the username/password for the PPOE connection and see if that works.

It looks like the order has completed today and everything should be working.
Have you set up our router already?

All working now thanks.
The text stated it would be working on the 23rd with Plusnet, but was done a day early.
