Outage in Newtown Powys

Hi my router is connected but no internet since 6am. Do you know if there is an issue in my area?

@shazzbot Which Hub are you using, and what is the colour of the lights?

Re: Outage in Newtown Powys

OK , so the router is still connected to the internet according to that. What happens if you try to connect with a site?

When did you get a (PN?) Hub2?

Re: Outage in Newtown Powys

Yeh it says internet is connected and when I try to connect my to a site it just takes me to router page.

Bought the hub 2 from EBay a couple of months ago.

Ah, OK, so it is an ex-BT one - strange because I thought BT now charged you if you didn't return them, but no matter.

What is the 'username' showing on the Hub? It is possible this has been returned to 'setup'?

Yeh it’s setup@plusdsl.net. I can’t remember it ever being anything different lol

Re: Outage in Newtown Powys

OK - in that case, you need to reset it to 'yourusername@plusdsl.net' and your account password - it will never work correctly with that username.

Woohoo you genius. That was the problem. All connected now. Not sure why it would suddenly change it back to default. Thank you very much.

Glad you sorted it. I'm no 'genius' - just someone who knows what can go wrong with the 'net.
