Outage Weds night?

Hi Folks

Did anybody else suffer a short outage of service in se London on Weds night about 23:40 and lasting until about 00:30?

My system was downloading a driver and I was watching iplayer and both stopped.  I then noticed that my system tray network icon was indicating a lack of internet connectivity.  Checked the phone, also offline.  Looked at Plusnet service status via 4G but no issues showing.

I restarted my router - no change.  I restarted the BT modem - adsl light steady but no change.  Ho hum I though and carried on with something else and about 45 mins later noticed that internet connectivity was back.

Pretty sure there was nothing internal to my network causing problems and it was only a short interruption but it did stop me in my tracks.

Just wondering...

We're not aware of anything.

Everything came back up without any intervention by me - aside from the off/on procedures during troubleshooting - but 99.9% sure it was an outside fault.

It hasn't happened since, to my knowledge.
