Is it possible for me to use Open DNS with my Plusnet Hub one router?

Hi @Gavin,

It's not possible to change the DNS server settings from within the Hub One, I'm afraid. If you would like to use Open DNS, I would recommend that you change the DNS settings within each individual device.

You can't change the DNS settings on the Hub One so unfortunately not, nothing to stop you changing the DNS settings on the connected devices though.

Thanks for the reply.  Not what I was hoping for, lots of kids with lots of devices (and they're more savvy than me!)

Can I use a third party router with the Plusnet service?

Yes, you can use your own router. But what is it you are trying to achieve with Open DNS?

It sounds like your kids will get around whatever restrictions you are trying to impose.

Some customisable filtering along with some new AV software might keep them occupied for a while!
