Re: Odd TBB test ?

I'm also seeing issues.

Forced change overnight to pcn-bng01.plus.net (84.93.253.70) (Colindale)

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/button/148118620145863337522.png

Did a gateway change to psb-bng02.plus.net (84.93.253.110)  (Southbank)

148118633122187931032

Normally the single test line is matching the x6 line and both are flat at the top end of the scale.

Have all the AG gateways been shut down now as these were my preferred gateway and gave decent test results?

This was what I was seeing up until Wednesday morning

pcl-ag03.plus.net (212.159.2.169)

Re: Odd TBB test ?

@SpendLessTime  must be a problem with  psb-bng02. Embarrassed

Which gateway

You are currently connected to gateway psb-bng02.

This is located in Southbank Point of Presence.

Re: Odd TBB test ?

@rongtw

But pcn-bng01 is worse for me, look at the single test of 0.9 Mbps so the issue is in both Colindale and Southbank

Re: Odd TBB test ?

Plusnet having problems with single-threaded downloads? Wow. Never heard of that before Wink

Let's just hope it doesn't take them eight months to fix it this time.

Re: Odd TBB test ?

There must be issues at these 2 data centres, I could never get my x1 and x6 lines back together without finding an AG gateway in the past.

Remember the packet loss threads are both from these 2 data centres. If the AG gateways have gone now then this looks like I'll be moving on next year as these tests clearly indicate traffic congestion at the 2 main data centres.

Re: Odd TBB test ?

You don't need to reboot the router, just log into it and disconnect and reconnect the PPP session, then it wont have any impact on the line profile thinking its unstable etc.

Re: Odd TBB test ?

Swapped gateway to pcn-bng04.plus.net (84.93.253.94) and have an improvement to
148174181110179187625

But it just shows how peak times affect some of the the gateways. The morning test on the old gateway was just like the test I've done now.
