I never said you didn't pay for them, I was asking how much you paid for them, but really what I wanted to know was how much you expect Plusnet to reimburse you. Do you also want £10 compensation for each day you got a slow speedtest result? Apparently that's the going rate for each day without service for a delayed repair under the automatic compensation consultation.
Wasn't the £50 a connection or installation fee (covering the work done at the cabinet), payable regardless of whether or not you take the Hub One? I thought Plusnet only ask for the postage & packaging charge for whatever router they supply.
I have not seen many if any similar issues on any forums.
Also, the PN HUB 1 / BT HH 5A and BT HH 5B are really completely different devices, it's not a case of just replacing the chipset, most of the firmware will be completely different, although the user interfaces have been made to look the same.
