Not getting promised speed....

Promised 34 min - initially got 17 but thought the first few days id leave it as when i spoke with an advisor i was told my speed would vary initially, now im only getting 8 if im lucky - plus the connection feels unstable - when i do a speed test the needle jumps about as if the connection is erratic, ive plugged in via ethernet and its better, but the wifi isnt up to much - my old provider had a much faster connection, and i cant help but feel dissapointed initially, this isnt exactly firbe speeds...

If it's less than the handback threshold then you're free to leave without penalty if it doesn't improve.

Re: Not getting promised speed....

Tried both.....with a cable it was as promised around 36....but the wireless seems erratic and slow however I’ve just re tested on iPhone it and it’s 34.....so provided it stays at that I’ll be happy.

Re: Not getting promised speed....

If your speed drops again over WiFi but remains solid using a wired connection, I'd recommend taking a look at this guide about wireless connectivity: https://community.plus.net/t5/Plusnet-Blogs/How-to-boost-your-wi-fi/ba-p/1450193

From 31st October 2022, I no longer have a regular presence here as I’ve moved on to a new role.
