Not as good as bt

Hi all. Just joined from bt my broadband is terrible. Was I wrong to think plussnet would be the same speed ?

Hi there @Markp1 welcome to the community forums, your line speed estimates will likely be the same as when you were with BT previously.

However, looking at your speeds you do seem to be within the top end of your estimates of 56-78Mbps. You're actually in sync at 74.9Mbps.

Are you only seeing speed problems on a wireless connection? If so you might be experiencing wireless interference or something similar.

If so itmight be worth taking a look at our wifi troubleshooting.

If you have a BT Smarthub then use that instead of your Hub One, which is really an old Home Hub 5a with tweeked firmware.
