Not Getting Download Speed As advertised.

I am on the supposed 62-72mb Unlimited Fibre Extra package and I am getting no where near that.

On te BT wholsale speed test 16.90mbps download and 20.70mbps upload.

I have spoken a couple of times on the phone to plusnet tech and have seen no improvement.

All my equipment is wired connections using ethernet, smart tv and desktop pc.

I have disabled all firewall/anti virus software and retested to no improvement.

Not very impressed.

Anyone got a solution?

Sorry for any inconvenience this is causing. Together with our network partners at Openreach we are prioritising customers who don’t have a phone line or broadband connection, meaning there might be a delay in Speed Faults being fixed. In the meantime, please raise your speed fault online at faults.plus.net.

Can you get one of your tech guys to look at this info please.

This is on a wired connection, plugged into a mk4 openreach master socket with a 50cm ADSL shielded lead, no other extensions anywhere or ancilliary wiring.

The connection is very laggy and makes some websites unusable.

Is this normal?

That is a pointless graph - it shows TBB is not able to ping your router which is normal.

There are ways around this, if you read the help pages on TBB.
