No show for install

Another one to join the queue!
Appointment for "am slot" today and a "no show".
Plusnet now going to liaise with the "one supplier" and come back to me within  24- 48 hrs.
If they come back with a "lead-time" of ten days or over I will be sorely tempted to change over to cable.
Really abysmal service in the 21st century from the "one supplier".

you are allowed to say Openreach, you don't need to refer to them as the "one supplier".
also, your use of the inverted commas is not required, it doesn't help you in making the point you are trying to make.

@chenks76 - if I want to refer to BT as the "Only One” in inadvertent commas that is my prerogative; it really doesn't help with you posting such a pedantic comment.

maybe they were inadvertent though, in that you didn't mean to use them.
it's also my prerogative to post that it's stupid to do so.
